Yesterday I had a clear positive. So clear I didn't even have to lift it off the counter to look at it. So clear my husband saw it without his glasses.
And today, a BFFuckingN.
I don't have any clue what is going on/what went on.
My beta isn't until 18DPO--next Monday!
(My clinic's refusal to do betas before 17DPO--even when you're bleeding!--is part of why I'll be changing after this cycle. I seriously don't need to shove $30 of progesterone up my twat plus swallow another $2 in estrogen for any longer than I should have to! Plus, of course, all the emotional stuff.)

I agree, that policy is ridiculous! Maybe the time of day for today's test skewed the results? Or the test was faulty. Don't give up yet!

My clinic does betas at 15dpo (though I haven't tried pushing them to do it sooner - I bet they would, especially if one were bleeding). If positive, follow up at 17dpo and 19dpo. That's later than some, but I appreciate it because betas done too early can be inconclusive in the same way that HPTs done early can be inconclusive. And I'm a POAS-addict, so 15dpo is the point at which the peesticks have started giving more conclusive answers.
I think variation exists between tests, even ones from the same lot. I'm of the opinion that if SOME tests are positive, it's a BFP. Keeping my fingers crossed for more definitive second lines in the next couple of days, and then a great beta when the day finally comes!

Could the positive be from the trigger shot still? I didn't get a super faint positive until 9 days past transfer. Good luck!!
My clinic doesn't do betas. I've never had one and never even heard of one being done. I'm just supposed to test on day XX (usually 14dpt). I think that will be one of my questions to ask next time.
Sorry today's test was hazy. I hope the next is better.
What the crap.
How upsetting and fraught these days are. I had something somewhat similar where I tested positive for 2 days then the lines started getting lighter instead of darker. I totally freaked out. Turned out I was pregnant with twins. I hope yours goes in a similar direction!
Sorry about your bfn. That really sucks. I hope your beta brings different results - but I'm sorry you have to wait so long! How frustrating!
