5w3d: Intrauterine!!!

I've got one little guy hanging out IN MY UTERUS! I am thrilled beyond words. They saw the gestational and yolk sacs. Nothing more, but I wasn't expecting anything more. They did not tell me if my baby is measuring behind and frankly, I do not want to know. I also refused additional betas (but took them up on increasing my progesterone).

I go back at 7w1d. In the meantime, I will talk to my uterus and the baby inside (right smack dab in the middle).

Thank god this is over, and thank god I'm pregnant!!!!

Praise God! ectopics can be so dangerous. You are a strong woman. I think i would have said the same thing...no more betas not more ups and downs. Focus on your miracle!

Wonderful news Marissa! We are all thrilled for you! What a rollercoaster it has been for you, but it will be worth it in the end when you are holding your beautiful baby on Thanksgiving Day! (I'm assuming you are due in November?)

Such great news!!!! I am confused, was that a freudian slip..."one little guy in there"....."gestational and yolk sacs"----if you go back and there are two, I call mommy intuition!

And nope, no hormone draws as of yet, and no offers either so I'll have to make another appointment and then suggest it while I'm there. Is it super awful that I'm hoping some thing's up with SA?!

Congratulations to seeing the little guy hanging out "in the right place"!

On this website http://www.americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/hcglevels.html
they wrote that the ultrasound is a much better predictor than the hCG levels.
Best wishes!

Oh, I'm so glad for you. I've been waiting to see.. I kept thinking you had a babe in there. I don't think they can even measure the embryo that early, they didn't with me, the nurse said we were lucky to be able to see anything at that stage.. We just saw one sac, next week we saw two! Good luck, thinking good thoughts for you and your little one.

Yay! I just wrote a BOOK on a comment for your boot which I just realized was an older entry (it was the one when your beta was 297) and your result ended up what I was trying to get at. Please read that comment because I think there is some good info for you to have and I don't want to think the amount of time it took me to wrote it out on my blackberry was wasted! ~smile~

Huge congrats to you!
