Going private

I'm trying to figure out how to make my blog private.

Those of you who have done it, how did you do it and how did you let certain people read it?

My boys are doing ok, still in the NICU and still facing a lot of challenges. Because this is about them now, I no longer feel comfortable being public, but don't want to leave blogging altogether.

I think wordpress seems like the best option for password-protecting particular posts or having a generally private blog. I've toyed with the idea myself, and it's really just laziness that's kept me from implementing the change. Thus, I would love to hear from you what you find does and doesn't work!

PS - best wishes for the long slog out of the NICU. I hope you are surprised with a hospital departure sooner than you expect. (RJ busted out just when we had started settling in for the very long haul.)

I would love to keep following your journey with your 2 amazing little boys. I didn't see an email where I could contact you and give you some info about myself so you know who is reading lol! (I have a son and daughter after male factor and IVF/FET, 2 miscarriages and now pregnant with another little boy.)

Is there a way I can contact you?

I have followed you but never commented. Please let us know if there's going to be a way to either keep reading your blog or receive updates on your boys. Ever since the boys' bday, I've checked your blog daily, eager to hear more news. I'm a mom of two boys, who stumbled upon blog reading as something I can start and finish in the little chunks of time I get.

I have been following your blog for a long time without commenting. But I think about you and your boys every day and also check in daily for updates. I understand you may want to blog privately but there are a lot of us that follow and look forward to your updates. I even keep your blog open in a window on my iPad! From what I read you are a super trooper and your boys are so lucky to have such love.

I too would like to continue following your journey. I have been reading a long time. I opened another blog on blogger with a similar name and made that PP. That helped to be able to write there when I wasn't able to post on my regular blog. Blooger is free which is why I used it. I think wordpress you pay for but I don't know???
