35w1d: I pee a lot

I just wanted to share with you all that I more than filled my little urine jug. I know, these are the details that keep you reading.

I just got back from the doctor. My BP was actually down to 125/78 this morning. Protein on the dip strip still +1, waiting for results on the 24-hour catch, but she's thinking I'm probably not pre-e so much as...very pregnant with twins. I did gain another pound (since Friday!!) and am increasingly swollen.

Also bumping NSTs up to twice a week. My OB told me she doesn't want me going much past 36 weeks. We set a tentative date for Feb 10th (induction or section, depending on positions, but sadly likely a c-section), which puts me at 36w5d. Of course, depending on lab results, NSTs, and serial BPs, that could be moving, but I'm really hoping to make it!!

I'm trying to be as strict with my bed-rest as possible, since it seems to have made a difference. It's hard, though. But I want to keep my boys properly perfused and inside so they can get nice and fat.

I pee a lot too. I'm scared that in the next month or so I might as well just eat and sleep on the toilet. Wow (possibly) Feb 10th!!! :) Plump up lil boys!!!

Again....we're seriously mirroring each other! I'm curious to see who goes first..I think you'll go to your scheduled date...doesn't sound like you have pre-e....very good news! In the hospital I filled up a jug and a half! At home, I have to start putting in only half of my pee at the end or I'll overflow!

OMG I'm laughing so hard I'm peeing myself a little. All I can think of is that commercial "I lift things up and put them down" "I pee a lot".

Don't ask me why, the title just struck me funny.

Lady....you're starting to make this look easy!! LOL.

If you decide to go again after you get your boys would you do a single egg transfer? We've talked about it...but i dont think i could handle carrying twins again! lol As you know better than anyone...It's not a game.

You are so close and your boys will soon be in your arms - how wonderful. Hope the next 10 days pass peacefully for you and that your boys get a bit of extra chub on them!

Way to hydrate!

And you are so close to meeting these boys -- within two weeks! I hope you can keep them in there for another 12 days of fattening up and putting the finishing touches on development. Wishing you a good final stretch of bedrest!

Wonder Woman, my husband and I have had that conversation, and while we're still in the "play it by ear" state, we think, if we go for more, they will be eSETs.

You never do know, but we feel like the emotional pressure will be different, and more importantly, with 2 kids already...handling THIS MUCH bedrest, HG, non-stop appointments, etc. might be a bit much for our family.

But neither of us has raised twins before--it might be that we love it so much we decide to risk it again. :)

good point! You could take to it like a fish to water. and here's hoping you never see HG again!!
